Bountiful Wishes for a Happy Holiday Season!

“Bountiful Santa” was designed by artist and Old World Christmas co-owner E.M. Merck. It was available only at special Old World Christmas Events during the 1998 Holiday Season. It is a limited edition piece; produced specifically for the year 1998. Only 18,000 pieces were created.

This jovial Santa is ready to brighten any festivity. His long red coat, trimmed with glittering gold glitter, frames the many luscious fruits cascading from his overladen bowl. The intricate detail and original design made this Santa the collector’s choice!

Made in Germany for Old World Christmas by the skilled artisans of Inge-Glas, this festive glass collectible was carefully mouth blown, one at a time, into a finely crafted porcelain mold. After the inside was coated with a wash of silver for reflection, it was then hand-painted with brightly colored lacquers. After the ornament stem is snipped, the trademark Star Cap is attached…an heirloom is born! It takes approximately seven days to create each of these magnificent ornaments.

Long retired, Special Event Piece #1569, “Bountiful Santa” measures 5 ½”. Molded into the back of the ornament is the commemorative year; 1998. This hard to find collectible piece is in mint condition from holidayshopsaratoga.com store stock.
