This adorable, “1950’s Santa in Sleigh Candy Container”, measures approximately 5” long by 4 ½” high. There is a tab on Santa’s head if you want to hang this sweet container on your Christmas tree. This vintage Santa most likely carried a bouquet of lollypops wrapped in colorful cellophane.
After World War II plastic ornaments and figurines made in the USA became very popular. However, the prosperity of this period led to the disposal of many of these ornaments and decorations. Primarily constructed from red, green, or white plastic; these served as tree decorations, candy containers, and table top decorations.
