Vintage German Cottage (blue)

There’s no Place Like Home for the Holidays!

This sweet "Vintage German Cottage" (blue) ornament was made in the German Democratic Republic (GDR) sometime during the 1950’s. The cap of this hand crafted collectible is marked “Made-GDR”.

On one side of the ornament is a front door with two shuttered windows. On the reverse side of the cottage, two stately pine trees adorn the home. At the very top, under the peak of the cottage, there is one tiny window. This vintage treasure measures approximately 2” x 1 ¾”.
