A sweet woodland rabbit!
In religious tales the rabbit came to symbolize our “placement of hope and faith in Christ for protection. As a result, German folklore instructed children to prepare nests for rabbits to offer them shelter”. The rabbit grew to “represent the renewal of faith in others to provide guidance, protection and kindness”.

Produced by the family workshop of Inge-Glas, now operated by the fifteenth generation of glassblowers, this cunning creature will make a perfect addition to you woodland Christmas or Easter tree!
Velveteen Rabbit was created in an antique ornament mold and is made of blown-glass. After it came out of the mold, it was carefully hand-painted by skilled German artisans. It is topped with the star cap trademark, signifying its authenticity as an Old World Christmas, Inge-Glas, heirloom collectible ornament.
Velveteen Rabbit measures 3 ¼” and comes with an Old World Christmas story card telling the legend of the Glass Rabbit Ornament.
