This beautiful collection features detailed, snow white porcelain figurines. The Department 56 logo is cast into the molds of each to guarantee authenticity. Every year several pieces are retired from production and the molds are broken-this limits the number of pieces produced and allows for new additions to the line.
The Winter Silhouette collection is actually many collections in one. The pieces depict Victorian holiday scenes, winter activities such as skating and sledding or traditional Christmas images such as angels, churches or Wiseman.
“Sugar Plum Fairies” captures two precious little ballerinas dancing The Nutcracker. Long retired, this lovely figurine has a Department 56 catalog number of #78604, measures approximately 7” and is in “new”, mint condition, from store stock. It comes complete in its original collectors’ box with its Silhouette Treasures gift tag and information brochure with product registration tear-off card.
