From Merck Family’s Old World Christmas comes “A Toast to 2000!” These limited edition glass ornaments in the shape of a miniature bottle of champagne had the French phrase inscribed in the mold, “Fin de siecle champagne”, or end of the century champagne to commemorate the Turn of the Century. This festive ornament is made of mouth blown-glass, and was carefully hand-painted and glittered by the skilled artisans of Inge-Glas; once the exclusive provider of glass collectibles to Old World Christmas.

“A Toast to 2000!” is long retired and hard to find. This bottle of French bubbly is in “New”, mint condition, from store stock and measures 5”. It is topped with the star cap trademark signifying its authenticity as an heirloom ornament created in Germany by Inge-Glas.

This special collectable ornament comes with an Old World Christmas story card explaining this commemorative piece, and is packaged in a vintage Old World Christmas gift box.
