Antique Style Zeppelin

From the Old World Christmas Museum Collection!

Transportation items were extremely popular at the turn-of-the-century with the dawn of automobiles, people’s fascination with the zeppelin and the Wright brothers’ first flight in 1903. This is evidenced by this wonderful reproduction zeppelin ornament.

Old World Christmas ornament #1546, “Antique Style Zeppelin”, measures 3 ½”, has a hanger and propeller made of gold lomenta and a spun-glass tail. This retired ornament was created in antique ornament mold and is from the original Old World Christmas Museum Collection. This line of unique, elaborately detailed ornaments was produced in very limited quantities due to the time involved in completing each piece. These ornaments are destined to become future museum items!
