Designed as companion pieces to their beautiful hand-crafted chalkware figurines, Vaillancourt German glass ornaments are created by master glass blowers of Lauscha, Germany, a village whose glass blowing tradition dates back over 450 years! Each of Vaillancourt’s limited edition ornaments are hand-painted in a matte, or unglazed finish, which makes them look like their chalkware counterparts, making these whimsical ornaments truly unique.

“New”, in mint condition, from store stock, “American Snowman”, retired ornament #OR133 was introduced in 1999, measures 7”, and comes in its Vaillancourt collectors’ gift box.

The Vaillancourt Folk Art studio is located in the historic 1826 Manchaug Textile Mill in Sutton Massachusetts; these wonderful hand-crafted creations are truly “Made in America”!
